Replacement windows and doors

Can anybody recommend a good window and door company. We are looking for replacements for our house, plus 2 doors and patio doors, so far we've enquired to two companies, both came out and waffled on for 2 hours, by this time we had lost interest...........I hate salesmen talk!!

Anglian have a free ONLINE quote page, you measure approx all your own windows and doors, style of window etc. and wait for a quote.......BUT they then ring you to arrange yet another lecture on windows, we know exactly what we want, but don't want another lesson on locks, hinges, glass, casements etc.

We went with BAC and were thrilled with the results. It was nearly ten years ago now, and they still look fab

We had our new front door supplied and fitted by Acorn Plastics. They are BS4.

We had a salewoman come to the house to go through all the options - talked a bit but very nice.

Only one tiny problem which they came and sorted out straight away.

we are doing the same at the moment and got prices with Invision who were more reasonable than anglian etc etc
and dont send salesman out which is good.
However Wickes do a range fo made to measure which is a good bit cheaper so we are going with their service as ours is for a new build extension so jioners will be fitting as part of thewir job anyway.
