Sciatica nerve

Hi, My 5 year old springer spaniel whos gentle nature changed when any dog went to sniff his bottom and would air snap (never bitten) it turned out he had a trapped sciatica nerve ouch!!! this has now been sorted but was told massage would be very good for him and a great bonding 20mins with your dog. Does anyone know of a good dog massage book?
