Ideas for a short break please.

I am on holiday from 5th Nov can anyone recommend anywhere "nice/quiet" to visit don;t mind this country or abroad, but from Mon- Friday off to a wedding on Sunday 5th .

All suggestions welcome - as odd as you like.

Love the Lake District, especially as it's quieter at this time of year. We're heading over Sunday for a few days. B&B has indoor pool/jacuzzi/sauna as well for a bit of pampering
