Good morning Moyra and all who follow

Hope you are feeling better today Moyra.

Pleased Casey is improving Harvey and long may it stay that way.

Hope you are improving Griff if not please make an appointment at the doctors.

Hope everyone else is keeping well

Nice morning here with a little frost overnight. Just going to do a bit in the veg patch and then out for our weekly meal. Done my Christmas shopping - only for the grandchildren as everyone else wants money so easily sorted

Have a good day and stay safe and warm.

Hope it goes well on Thursday

We are pleased with Casey but it may not last, the medication is a high dose and the vet said it would have to be reduced at some point because of side effects although I can't see any (side effects) so far.

Harvey, at this stage I’d be thinking the benefits outweigh the negatives. It’s all about balance and present quality of life and the alternative doesn’t bear thinking about.

I hope those of you with ailments get relief. I suppose I'm lucky. At least I think I have nothing lasting or terminal - except life I suppose.

Been a miserably cold grey day here today. But, as always, we stroll. First out at around 07:30. Avoids the refuse trucks.

The latest but probably not the last was at school closing time. I usually try to avoid that but the beast is really good with the children and most know him by name anyway.
From a 12-year old conversation.
Me: "He's Max and gentle"
Her: "Yes, I know Max."

And he got a cuddle. I'd like to claim that was my training. But it isn't. Learned possibly. We socialise with people we meet. Maybe he takes clues from that.

Very similar to the reception Amber gets, some kids cry if their mum won't wait to say hello to Amber and let them throw her ball at least once. Most of the mum's do love her too. What I can't get over is how they all say how clean her lovely coat is, why so white, it is actually cream, I think.

Hello all
Busy weekend but fun, I was at work till late Friday, Saturday morning Tony & me went into town for a few bits. Then Saturday evening I went out with friends from work for a Christmas/birthday celebration as it is one of the lady's 50th birthday on New Year's Eve. It was great fun.
Yesterday we went to our local Michaelmas market, not great, hope it grows a bit more over the years. After we went to the Denby Pottery Christmas market. It was really good there. Me & Lauryn had a cream tea homemade scones & jam
Hope you feel a lot better in the morning Moyra
How lovely the reception Amber & Max get proves what kind dogs they both are. Rosie loves people & loves getting fusses of everyone
Losos hope Casey is getting better, I agree with other the benefits outweigh the negatives
Sue hope you enjoyed the meal out, I've nearly done our Christmas shopping. Just a couple of bits to get.
Kazz huge good luck with the interview for the talking books, I'm sure you will be fab
Right cuppa time
