I've passed these on, thanks!

Its looking like someone is going to be willing to take a chance but Salo is not cat friendly and this is a home with cats so if the visit does not go well today that could be a problem. I'll keep people posted of course!!!

That's terrible! I cannot believe they're doing this! He looks really lovely. Did they honestly try dogs rescues or are they just saying that?! My feeling is they didn't try hard enough. Shame on them

How awful. Why are people so callous about animals? Abslutely no commitment or care. Makes me so angry.

I absolutely agree. I don't understand why some people don't see their animals are very much part of the family.

Sorry, just seen this thread, as been transporting a rescue GSD today.

So many unwanted dogs - it totally depresses me at times.

Anyhow, try Jayne at GSD Rescue UK (google their website for contact details). I am sure she will be able to help, given the urgency of the situation.

Please let us know.

This is so sad, poor dog, loyal and thinking he is loved... I hope someone takes him, maybe the vet themselves...

It was 3 weeks ago I was standing in the vets, with my soppy boy D, when I heard the vet nurse take a call... someone wanted to have their staff pts... she said they didn't put healthy dogs pts, she suggested rescue, transpired they had and now they would say it had bitten, as that way the dog, being the type it was, was guaranteed to be pts!! If I could have got down the phone line I would have wrung her neck! The vet nurse was livid by the way and told her not to come to their surgery!!
