Have to say our local hospital group whatever they are called GoodHope East Birmingham Solihull and Queen Elizabeth phone you by automated call saying "are you X Y Z if so press 1" then it says "reminder appointment at whereever on ?? at ???" this come two days before so very good reminder and my GP sends out texts to remind people the day before. Have to say on occasion have been caught out and not had a letter but had call so phoned hospital in question and also reminded me.

Gill was saying they are so over stretched like all our public services.
It really isn't ideal but of course the mere workers are in the firing line while the people who cause this chaos with the financial cutbacks sit in their ivory towers.

Might just be the battery, Eileen. Hoping its that anyway
Found another lump tonight on her back end at the side. Thinking of giving them all a name She's happy in herself and jumped the little fence along the path when I called her to put her lead on, so not all bad.
She's mithered till I took her out for a walk, just beginning to rain here, has been a lovely, if cold, day. Got out and back again before it set in. Looks like tomorrow we'll be onto monsoon weather once again.

They always come in if they are poorly, or before and after babies. Also Mabs has been coming in for a few nights when she had PMT. She's calmed down now and not interested at all. They know the routine and fall back into it without any bother. They do prefer to be outside and they get fed up after a while. Cariad is beginning to stand by the back door already and tutting
