Daily Thread, Friday, 17th March, St Patrick's Day

Good morning everyone and top of the morning to you all.
I wonder how Eileen and Connor are celebrating today?

Griff, Thankfully you do have the dogs and cat to hold you together. Do look after yourself and try not to worry about your Mum and Dad they are old enough to look after themselves.

June is it today that Zen takes her Silver trial? If so I wish you both luck.

Lynn, hope Dillon is ok today.

Harvey, hope you are ok, not seen you for a day or two, hope it is not your back gone again. Take care.

A Happy St Patrick's Day to all our absent friends.

Have a good day, take care, stay warm and dry and above all safe and well, God bless.

Pouring down here already . Cariad had breakfast, went for a wee, back in and stole Zens bone out of the utility room on the way back, so no change there and still an appetite
Was hoping to get girls out as rain not forecast till later, but was already here when I woke up, so we'll have a duvet day instead.
Cleaned up, skipped out, wet patches removed and beds fluffed up and they are fast asleep.
War Games have ceased and peace reigns for the first time in weeks. Mabs did come in last night, I went out to check before bed and she ran in, so rather than risk any escalation of hostilities I left her with Cariad, but no battles all night before that and the general atmosphere is calmer.
Hoping you're OK this morning Griff
Have a good trip, Lynn
Zens Silver Test is on Sunday, Moyra, weather permitting

Just read about this and it just goes to show that these people think these dogs are expendable. Makes me so bloody cross.

I read that, how much money does it take to train a dog like that eh, and he was 'holding up the planes' well the planes would be held up a lot longer if a bomb or weapons were smuggled in. Makes me wonder why he wouldn't come back as well, that isn't normal

They could have drug darted the dog instead bit drastic to shoot a valuable dog dead like that and so not fair.

Helloooooo. Happy St.Patricks day. We are in Tideswell in a quaint little two bed cottage. On the main road a lot noisier than ours and terrible windy steep stairs worse than ours were before Gorden changed them.
But very relaxing and just nice to be away for a few days. Stopped at Dovedale on the way here wet and windy and cold but still beautiful.
On our second bottle of red, and have chips in the oven and nice home made pies from a a butcher in Buxton.
Dillon a little unsettled feel one of us is going t be sleeping down here for the next two nights.
1) He isn't allowed upstairs and 2) wouldn't want to chance it.

griff please take of yourself.
Hope everyone else and all four legged friends are well.
