I don't know... She was a year and a half when I got her. I assumed they did it themselves too... I agree that a vet or breeder wouldn't. I don't really know much about her past. I just heard a beagle needed a home about an hour away and went and picked her up. Paid the idiot $25 for her...

My dear old Polly, a rescue Jack Russel..went to the bridge, gosh nearly a year ago now..she had a full tail, but was forever getting tears, cuts n such in it, however[see i may be pro docking but i also am a fair person!] we walked very wild fields and she was working terrier, different circumstances-who knows. It did take some getting used too as i was only used too docked russels before her, but it just become the norm after a while.

I agree crazy cockers, that's a very beautiful tail! I love how the colouring is just at the base... that's too cute!

Aww Paddy is gorgeous, having grown up with docked Cockers I have to admit that I do prefer them with a tail, but then I'm used to the Setters tails and think they are so similar
