I do remember it first time round, it was quite a big deal, I seem to remember it being hailed as a " first of it's kind"

The best thing about Dallas was listening to Terry Wogans comments the day after, he used to have me in stitches, and I still remember him pointing out that there was no telephone in the bedrooms, his 'out loud' thoughts as to why were hilarious and I even watched one episode to see if it was true (It was)

On a more serious note I think it shows how TV drama has become so barren that they have to resurect a show from 20 years ago.

That was in the early ones. At the start of the new one, he is in a hospital sufferering severe depression but by the end he was back to the JR we all remember.

More lives than the proverbial cat Actualy I'll be honest and say I did watch more than just one Channel 5 is a bity 'iffy' where we are but I might look out for it and watch just out of interest, as I said above it probably beats a lot of the modern stuff anyway
