I have been delighted by a breeding pair of these on my one peanut bag at the kitchen window Never seen these before and they are utterly bright and charming. So unafraid too. Checked them on youtube. Apparently they are quite rare here in summer being winter visitors

Delightful. At the mo I am dead jealous of a pal here who has an OWL using their pool! It sits on the top step with half of itself under the water!

Ah but when they arrived I really NEEDED them and they got me through some very hard days.. they have a loud call too. They stayed even when I was at the sink.. Wee yellow angels...
