Homing Requirements: Bruno needs a sensitive and understanding family who can adapt to his little foibles and once attended to Bruno becomes such a rewarding companion. Bruno can be left and is comfortable in other dogs company. He needs a secure garden and exit management mainly on the basis
that he needs aware introductions to strangers. He is a food opportunist; can open levered doors and can be precious about food and toys: For this reason no live-in children and owners who can see the funny side of this entertaining friend. Bruno needs a family who can work in with him and heed a detailed handover from his foster family e.g. Bruno enjoys access to furniture.

His Story: Bruno was abandoned by his owners in kennels. Bruno is neutered, chipped and vax'd. He moved into our care and endured a long period of kennelling, now fostered with another dog in the Gatwick area.

Advert: Bruno is a character, always with a smile to greet you. He is an opportunist with keen intelligence e.g. opening lever doors, but is well mannered in the home. Bruno loves his walks, loves the sofa, pulls only at the front of the walk and is off lead away from roads. Bruno needs managed introductions to strangers in the home. Bruno enjoys the company of other dogs. Bruno was fostered with tweenagers and adores their company...and their cuddles! Bruno travels well in a car secured or crated.

Bruno is a lovely 5 year old Lurcher x Collie with heaps of character! Bruno mixes with dogs well outside though occasionally will try to herd but is soon deterred. His fosterer's quote "A man's best friend, he is loyal, lovable, soft and cuddly, great on lead and off, has good recall, loves his food. He can bounce a ball and catch it himself, loves to sleep downstairs. He is Mr Magic terrific dog!! Bruno will work with his master and in friendship he is a fabulous companion".

Time for another update from Bruno's fosterers:

"Hello to all of the Bruno fans!

Bruno continues to enjoy life. He literally is the life and soul. He will brighten anyones day and is the best tonic if you feel down. Apart from when he steals your food LOL!

He isn't phased by the weather and will happily splash around in puddles.

We've just started running again after a knee injury (me not him) so he is happy about that!

Last night mum and dad came over for a pizza. Bruno was in his element... pizza and guests!







Bruno enjoyed playing ball in the garden today. However he dislikes being cleaned off.

Simple.... working with Bruno and not against him, I just encourage him into the pool as you can see from the video"!
