My boy ill :(

My lab had us up this morning at 4am with whining, eating grass and sick with bile only - no diarrhoea. Lots of stretching with bum in air etc - monitored him till mid morning then took to vet who gave him anti sick inj and pain killer inj - felt his tum and said he wasnt dehydrated so wsee how he is by tomorrow.
Wasnt bloat so thats good.

Yes he is a dustbin. But usually has a stomach of steel.
I hope he is better tomorrow.

fingers crossed.
he still seems to be in discomfort as still stretching not as much tho - think he is drowsy now due to painkiller.
what can it be?

The stretching is usually a sign of pain.

Pleased to hear you got him to the vet. I guess it's a waiting game now.....

Hope all is well very soon

So sorry to hear this hasn't been sorted yet. As you say, something's definitely wrong, and your vet needs to investigate further asap.

There's nothing worse than watching a dog in pain - you feel so helpless...... my thoughts are with you both and I'm sending loads of healing vibes for your poor boy x0x0x
