N. Yorks walk, August bank holiday?

Anyone up for a walk on bank holiday Monday (27th)? Alternatively, any other day that week but not weekends as I work weekends!

Options include Hackfall woods, Osmotherley reservoir (possibly a bit far north for some..), the beach - any beach, etc. Basically anywhere within an hours drive of Thirsk is fine with me. Hackfall might be best because it's big enough to not feel too crowded on a popular walking day.

Anyone?

He won't be so little by then! We met an Italian greyhound (with only 3 legs and no tail - so cute!) yesterday and they looked soooo funny together. He was about 4 times the size of the poor thing!

I think we are at a show! Will double check, although I'm swapping my days off and will only have a wednesday off soon, because of the grouse starting!!

We'll need to sort out something when we are both off, so I can introduce my Moss to your Moss! And I can bring all my spangles!!!

You were away

Are there other dates people can do if that Monday is no good? I'm about to start a new job so not sure what my days off are like!
