Saved myself a bundle..... Temporarily!

As you know, Jin is in the process of being trained to be left in the kitchen..... For a while I have been thinking about her bed in there and was going to get a hooded wicker basket and snuggly bed.

Have managed to do something for free until I find a solutio
:

A cardboard box! (this is the one she slept in when we got her!).

Here it is:

Im thinking a fabric ceate may be cheaper than a wicker basket.... (we dont have central heating so things may get chilly in the winter!). But one with a side opening perhaps.....can cover with a fleece for extra shelter?

Jin is a snuggle dog anyways! She has a sleeping bag and she loves going under the cover!

Wicker baskets are impossible to clean, harbour parasites and get chewed.

Boxes are better.

I agree its pretty but not that practical, my dogs find wicker things fun to chew so we don't have any in the house these days.

I had a gorgeous wicker bed for my NI , oblong & on legs...well it was gorgeous until i got Ruby, she cgewed it to bits so i flung it & got a plastic one...that Sasi has chewed to bits so looks horrible, but when she stops chewing I'll get another one.

Wish Id thought of a box, but saying that she chews that much itd have to be replaced everyday
