Why Do I Love You??

Why Do I Love You?

You stole, you barked, you dug the floor
You stole my food, then begged for more
You pushed me as far as you thought I’d go
And then pretended I never said ‘No’

You scratched the walls, and ate the door
You stole my things and thought I never saw
You chased bikes and joggers through the park
And when I said ‘quiet’ you’d just bark.

You were so difficult, such a pain
And they say dogs are easy to train
But tell me one thing,
I need to know

Why do I miss you so??

You were my friend, you loved me true
And I don’t know where I am without you
You would settle down with your head on my knee
And for five minutes we’d live in harmony.
