Thank you all for your kind words.

My mum took a turn for the worse last night and they have now implemented the near death care plan(named something like that). The family have all been today and are all on stand-by for when the worst happens. The district nurses have been a few times and I can't praise them enough for the care and help for both my mum, sister, brother and myself. She is comfortable at the moment but seems to get more agitated more frequently she can also not swallow.

The Macmillan community nurse who visits has been brilliant and she, like the district nurses as been a great help. That said we have had trouble with the Macmillan nurse at the hospital who our Macmillan community nurse has said her actions are disgusting and have caused undue stress, but I don't want to go into that at this time.

My sister and I are taking shifts through the night, so while my mum is sleeping at the minute I have come on here as I need a bit of normality at this time

So sorry to heat this sad sad news. Cancer is a nasty evil disease and in my experience it seems to attach itself to the nicest people.
Your in all our thoughts hun and although were not in the least bit religious were praying in our own way for you all.
Thinking if you tonight.
Love from all at Morganstar xxx
