Well!
I left Teagan's cage door open, and she decided to sleep on the door mat at the front door, so I put some blankets there for her!

She whined a little last night, then went to sleep when she realised I wasn't going downstairs.

This morning she whined to let me know she wanted to get up.
I went downstairs, and she'd poo'd and wee'd on the floor!

So, back to potty training tonight! I'll be getting up to let her out a few times during the night, and see if that works to keep her dry!

Hi Hevvur , O dear guessed that might happen. I don't think Teagan has altogether grasped the concept of house training. The fact that she has been in a crate overnight may just means she has learnt not to soil in her bed . Then you come and take her out so she goes..where you take her ...but not in her bed..That is not the same as teaching her not to make a mess in the house at night by saying to her 'This is the place I want you to use when you wish to be clean, you don't ever need to do it in the house, I will teach you the way to achieve this
Also keep in mind she is still very young and can not wait indefinitely to go out.
I cant stress enough the importance of starting puppies off on the right road from the beginning. I hope you understand what I am trying to say, maybe my bit on house training may help explain things better .(click below) Good luck

Thanks for the advice

Teagan has only just (in the past few months) learnt to be clean inside during the day, so I can't expect her to know what to do at night
I wish Kingsley would tell her! lol

Just to let you know, the past 2 nights she's not whined, or messed the house!
I haven't got up in the night either!

Yay for Teagan!!
