Sorry Amts - It was meant to be deleted. (it is now)

KatyB - I know what you are saying... we are a really friendly bunch here on Dogweb and I have done the same thing in the past (some of my old posts just contain a *hug*). But we have to draw a line and start making sure that posts in these sections contain constructive comments that help find a solution to the problem posted. If we don't we will find that alot of the threads on Dogweb are too cluttered with 'banter' which is not what we want as it means in future when people search for a particular problem they would have to wade through a lot of posts before getting to an answer - this will jeopordise our future which we must protect. If you care about Dogweb you'll understand this. And don't forget you can always PM someone to wish them well

Well an update....

I called the vet this morning. Not my ordinary vet, as its not open right now.

She said it coooulld be pyometra, but as Luna didnt have fever or throw up, have normal poos and dont drink anymore than usually or pee less or more, she would let time pass.

I cant get to them today before they close.....

Will call my normal vet at 3 when he opens and ask what he thinks.... He's open till 6 so I should be able to catch him if he wants to see us!

Luna hasnt eaten her breakkie, so took it away. She have no probs with hard treats, so dont think its her teeth... Its prob just hormones, but rather safe than sorry especially as we have 3 days of holiday coming up....

J

Hi All

A little update....

Called my regular vet, he thinks its hormones caused by the season, which ended 2 weeks ago.

So no worries...... I hope............

She's eaten her dinner tonight.

Well apart from eating yeah.

She's still not eating regularly. And I think she smells from her mouth, so might take her by the vet's next week, just to have them check her teeth

She's started itching though (see my "itchy" post) and I was thinking it could be because its LAMB&Rice she having, or even worse because its NUTRO lamb&rice or both combined, so am - yet again - thinking about changing brand....

But have just started switching her over to Nutro chicken&rice, so if its just the LAMB, then she shoud stop itching, but if its the Nutro, she'll continue scratching and I need to switch brand.

And this time it would be Olivers.... I've been suggested a few on the labrador site, but they are not available in DK.
Brands yes, but not the names of the food... if u understand... like f.ex. lamb&rice, or Large breed, and stuff like that.

I have answered your "itchy" post

Wouldnīt change food before I knew what was corsing the itching if I was you...

Something is wrong. You need to find out what, and you can spend a fortune on food before finding out yourself

But I do believe Olivers is good. And so is Hills that we used to use.
Iīm also interested in BARF but not convised yet
Better safe than sorry I say
