Oh these are delightful. You really should post pics of your boys more often Jenny. The 'fierce' one? I was immediately put in mind of a goalie leaping to save a goal!

I can actually make out a nose, a tongue and some teeth in that one - not just paws and fur!

It's lovely to see dogs playing. Especially when they've got another dog to play with. Bella will play with some dogs but mostly just with her toys. She still has a good time pulling them all out and ferrying them around and killing them. But she used to play fight with Mara and a little dog called Orestes when she was younger. She doesn't do that anymore unless she is visiting their house. Will mooch about with another dog when out and always pleased to see them - but doesn't 'engage'.

Your two play lovely and yet they have such different temperaments. I'm glad they've got each other.

When you can't find a rotting snake carcass handy sometimes you have to make do with a bit of fresh bird poo. Needs must!

The bird poo was dry but it was the best thing they could find . I can tell you that when they (well its usually just Rucksack) do roll in something it usually involves a full bath as they have so much hair

This is what greeted me one day when he came back in from the garden (fox poo)

I had to use nearly a whole bottle of tomato ketchup to get rid of the smell

The boys are so gorgeous, even if they do roll in grim things - that horrid smear of fox poo brings back terrible memories With characters like that though one could forgive them absolutely anything.
