new born pups and the heat

my last litters were born in the cooler weather so all i had to do was to put a heat lamp above the whelping box, to give the pups that little bit extra warmth, but now i have a newborn litter and im really worried how the heat will affect them, would it be wise to put a fan above the box as its so hot, or do you think they will be ok in this weather, they all seem to be ok at the moment but ive heard its gonna get hotter.

as long as the fan isn't blowing directly onto the box a cieling fan would be a good idea
keep mum cool with cold wraps or she may feel to hot to get in and feed

Hi I have a fan in the room where my week olds are its not directly on the box but its keeping cooler air circulating within the room which is helping mum cope.

Hi this happened to me with my last litter, I ended up buying lots of ice packs & putting them underneath the vet bed in the whelping box & having a seperate bed for mum in front of it
