I don't understand this aversion to black pets. I thought they were always recommended on account of their shedding fur not showing up as much as lighter fur?

My very first ever dog was black with a little white bit. I like black dogs esp. shiny black ones! But black was not a colour option in the last 3 breeds I've owned.

They are all gorgeous! I wish I had pics of my uncles black Lab, because he is beautiful I love the way black dogs shine... I love the way Jake shines!
