Best Pal, part 2

I was all set to call my pal last night, when I got a call from one of his other friends - he died at 2.30 yesterday afternoon (Tuesday). His Mum and cousin were with him, but he was asleep at the time (dosed up with morphine): at least he wouldn't have known anything about it.

I just can't get over how fast it was: it seems to have started, progressed and ended in a matter of a few days.

When I moved here from Edinburgh, many friends said they'd make the trip up here, to visit. My friend Frank was one of the very few who actually did it, quite a trip for a guy who was born with spina bifida.

So sorry to hear your news. Very hard to deal with when it happens so fast....

At least he didnt suffer too long. Sounds like he was a great friend to do that trip. Rest in peace Frank.

So so sorry for your loss but at least he is no longer suffering and he did not suffer for very long. I hope you can find some comfort in that.
