Well OK here's one from earlier today - oh and glad to say Bella LIKES the donkeys now. She put her front paws on the bottom corral rail and gave Mimi the baby a little kiss!

And another ... got a fridge full of carrots now!



I feel SO lucky to have lovely donkeys living down my road!

And just one more

My great, great, great Aunt (died at the age of 87 in 1999) had donkeys like this. Her entire front yard smelled like (won't finish that). But they are lovely little creatures.

When we were little and used to visit her in the country, we used to give them peppermint candy and apple slices. They were surprisingly gentle.

It's so funny, those cats actually hate each other and fight a lot and avoid each other the rest of the time... but they adore my new bed comforter and are always caught laying on it!

You would be surprised how dogs take to cats sometimes. All my dogs, even the dogs with DA/FA/RG issues have done just fine with the cats.

Not sure what the deal is... but the cats tend to be able to let the dogs know that they are the bosses.
