Lynne, yeah they really take it out of you the first 2 or 3 years then they start to settle down, but they are totally full on and it does get wearing...I enjoy that about them, but I know when enough is enough and Keshi will be my last Utonagan, very sad for me, as I adore these dogs and their characters.
Not having this extra puppy palace on beam as planned has made this litter very tiring indeed.
They will go out in the day and come in at night, I know someone was asking about that. Once they are acclimatised then they will be out at night, but they will have a heat lamp on if the weather gets cold or very wet. Heat lamp bulb tomorrow if I get the chance, fingers crossed I do.

Nite nite, finished mopping, did have all babies in bed, but Jasper was out playing Chase The Mop and now Dora is out as well, the gate will go on in a moment, then I will do brekkies, Mabs has (amazingly) stayed put for the moment, will let her out in a minute.

TW, sounds like you had a lucky escape with those idiots, imagine being specific about colours. I hate seeing people specifically asking for certain colours like 'blue' staffies. Dogs have personalities, they aren't fashion accessories!

The wind is starting to get up here, it's howling a wee bit, but it's not cold yet. Supposed to get chilly, thankfully with us having the hills round us we are relatively sheltered so it's not too bad, however, I'm dreading the run to work tomorrow.

The rain has stopped here and the wind calmed down. Had a nice soak and tucked upon bed, too tired to read. Hope you feel a lot better in the morning Lore and I hope Pereg has a peaceful night Malka
