sunday comp show

Right i'm gonna bite the bullet and take Mr Mcfie to a companion show on sunday-Its in aid of the tsunami,which i thought was a great idea.
He stacks great-for quite some time(with bait or if he thinks i have some) but he's become a little sod on the lead and i just know hes gonna show me up,he's started to pull quite alot and he tends to howl when he's enjoying himself,which i guess is a beagle thing!!
Can i use bait when walking him round the ring ?Not something i've tried-but i think it might work-if its allowed?Or any other tips would be great-
Also-dress code-i don't have any smart trousers-will smart jeans and top be ok or is this a no-no-

Plenty of people wear jeans at the shows I go too
Baiting while walking shouldnt be a problem so long as its not with a Tbone steak or anything that may distract the other dogs

All i take to companion shows is. A brush, water and a bowl and some treats.

I bought one of those h20 to go water bottle/bowl things and some treats,gonna bath him today,as i find his furs better a day or so after,so all set then i think-Just need some rescue remedy for me LOL

Ohhhhh- me camera-and some batteries-will be wearing it out this afternoon with piccies of my new neice in hospital-
Harvey really wanted to show him ,but hes not spent enough time with him on the lead which is a shame and at the mo alfie could pull him over!!
