what a nasty experience for you both. stupid owner - i'm afraid i wouldn't have let him walk away. it's high time people like that were made to take responsibility for their actions (or lack of them)

Poor you Luke, but I'm pleased to hear Ralph managed to hold his own. Some owners just do not deserve to have dogs - morons!

Hope he... and you... are ok.
Jake took a wee nip off a Jack Russel at the beach today.... made him a bit scared of wee dogs for a while... but stayed a bit longer let him get over it and seems fine now.

Because the dog harmed you Luke (regardless of being a scratch)-you are entitled for the Police to follow it up so report him.I daresay the Police wont do anything this time except issue a warning perhaps, but atleast the incident will be logged and he will be prosecuted should it happen again.

Me personally-i would have kicked the owner in the balls...

How frightening for you, it's people like that, that give dogs a bad name, he shouldn't be allowed to have a dog if he's not going to take responsibilty for it's actions!!!

Glad you are both ok

Exactly what I was thinking, bloody moron of course it's his responsibility to not only train the dog to behave but keep it under control either on or off the lead, he would have had my toe up his ar*e for his stinking attitude.

Sounds awful Luke

Please report the incident though.
I'm sick of people complaining that a dog has attacked (people or their dogs), and then doing nothing about it!
You have been injured, and that dog is dangerous!
Do what Wolfie suggested and take pics of your injuries so you have proof.
