Toilet Training not going to plan (toileting in crate overnight)

Hi all,
Looking fo a bit of advice,We seem to be making progress during the day but night time is awful,
We take Meg out at about 11.30 and let her empty herself before settling her down, which can take anything upto 30 mins, everything in the garden is so interesting.
Anyway hubby is now getting up in the night, the same as with Tyler, but when i get up she has usually weed in her bed,and this morning was awful, she had weed all over her bed, pooed in her bed walked it everywhere,it was all over the bottom of the crate and she was covered too.
Tyler never ever used his bed/crate as a toilet, how can i go forward and stop her doing this.

Is the crate big??

Most dogs will try to toilet in one end and sleep in the other.. if there is only room for sleeping then the "theory" is they shouldn't dirty their bed..

Try taking her out on a lead at night... and asking her to wee etc.. So that way she is out, does her business and then to bed.. limit water after 8pm..

hi all
got a new pup thursday she did the same thing so we give her the last feed at 5 pm.
when we walk her at 10.30 pm we take 3 or 4 small cat treats and when she wees or poos we give her one.
no more poo in her cage but the odd wee.
if shes stayed dry all night she gets a treat as soon as she comes out the cage about 8.00am but nothing if shes messed.if she messes in house or cage ignore her if she gose outside really fuss her.

ps she was a realy dirty dog when we got her.
