Bit of a rubbish week...

Well they say these things happen in threes and I guess this time they are right.

It's been a tough week at work.

Old boy, Mac, had to be put to sleep because his legs gave up



May he find his friend Fabien again.

We also lost Izzy the sheep today to a bleeding tumour I helped hand raise her two years ago and she's always been a bit stunted in comparison to the others. She fought hard but there was nothing we could do in the end. She's the little lamb at the front (obviously she'd grown a lot more by now)



And my neighbour, colleague and friend lost her boy today to a suspected case of Lepto He was only about 7 years old.



Bandit loved him and sought him out at every opportunity to play. Indi fought for a week against the illness but finally succumbed today. My friend made it to the vets before he passed so she was with him at the end.

May they all be happy and healthy wherever they are now and here's to a better week next week.

Thanks guys, yesterday was supposed to me my birthday but it didn't really feel like it Hopefully everything will brighten up with the nice weather.

My daughter has dealt with her job frustrations by packing a bag and heading off to a little music festival this weekend!

Postponing a birthday is a great idea; have an official one like the queen; been there done that.
