Jwb Surprise

As some of you know i had Harvey on Wainwrights dry kibble & wet food however due to Gym opening next door you cant get near the PAH store to park for love nor money thus we have changed venues & now shop at Jollyes. As Wainwrights is exclusive to PAH we had to change Harvey's food

We bought a bag of JWB food & use Butchers wet food

As JWB & Wainwrights are supposed to be very much on par food wise have been feeding Harvey same amount of food. However over past week have thought he looked to be losing weight & was always hungry!

To keep him at his "ideal" weight of 39 kilos & not be so hungry he has to have half as much again of the JWB food as he had on the Wainwrights. Guess it proves what a good food Wainwrights was

I think I will have to rethink his diet when this bag is
finished as at this rate it may very well work out quite pricey

Anyone else found this with JWB?

I've weighed out and marker penned on a tuppaware tub the right amount of JWB for Layton so I'm definitely not under-feeding him and one big sack of it has been like the magic porridge pot - it kept going for ever! (we've only just finished it)

Millie was always fine on both (200g of JWB and 300g of WW), she loses weight on the senior (JWB) so she goes on adult JWB and senior WW.
Never had the problem though with amount of feeding; this does make JWB cheaper for me though as it lasts much longer and i get it £40 a bag.

I noticed WW also list about 96% of ingredients and JWB is only 60 odd %. I'd love to know what JWB special ingredients is; maybe i'd trust it more.

WW is better in my opinion though especially the information they give us

Nope, haven't found that at all with JWB. In fact, I'm feeding Roxy LESS of JWB than when she was on CSJ.

Molly was on Burns before JWB and I'm feeding more or less the same amount of JWB. In fact, Molly is on a wee bit of a diet!

Rupert need 800g of JWB to maintain his weight, he needs 600g of Wainwrights. Burns was the worst I've fed for him, 1.2kg a day he was getting to maintain.

I don't really do it that scientificly!

I sort of start with their idea of what a dog of such a weight should have, but then I look at mine, and um, give them them what I think they need.

I have found JWB great for mine.

Interesting topic.

Does anyone know who manufactures Wainwrights for PAH?
