Things that go bump in the night

Ever noticed how Boxers nose everything? Sometimes it's quite gentle, sometimes it's quite a punch.

We were rudely awakened last night, not by the storm, but by an alarming crash. We leapt out of bed and dashed down the passage falling over the little dog in the dark.

Stop! Wait, what's the little dog doing at the kitchen door in the middle of the night? I found the light switch and saw all the Markies on the floor. Obviously he fancied a snack in the night, went to the shelf but couldn't open the box (I've been a clever Mummy and put the Markies in a box with lid!). So he punched the box onto the floor and the Markies escaped. Pity the culprit didn't escape with his loot.

It was back to bed, you naughty dog, and no Markie!
