I remember the day you were born
I knew when i first saw you
That you would be mine
The white 'Little M' on your chest
The first pictures I took of you
I labelled them 'My Girl'
Because I knew already
That you would complete my world

As you grew I watched you
The whole world at the door
Put there just for you
To chew and to explore
Whether it had four legs or two
Everyone you came upon
Loved you for being 'Moo'

But then one day too quick for me
You left and there was a hole
A hole too vast and painful
In a world that is so cruel
If I could bring you back to me
The love would fill that space
That seems to be at the moment
A very painful place

Run free at the bridge my darling
Play and have some fun
Your new life without me has only just begun
But remember my sweet baby
That one day, and I promise this is true
That we will be together again

Until that day is here sweet puppy

And remember all the good times
I just wish we could have had more
