well, update after tonights ringcraft ..................... firstly Jayne you MUST write a book !! you are amazing, she was a superstar tonight
first time she thought she was doing a weight pull or something and dragged me along, but after a few goes she calmed down and she was brilliant she walked well, never stopped and the stand was out of this world even the ringcraft judgey person was saying what a good girl she was :smt035 :smt038 :smt039 :smt040 :smt041 :smt023

Match next week, just hope after we are going to be practicing loads before then that she performs as well then.

THANKS JAYNE

BIG FAT SAUSAGES and being excited and calling her and praising her all the way, also i tried not talking to her and just walking her up and down and only telling her to turn or to stand and she was perfect

I think Wed night was as much to do with the fact that it was a new place for her and all the dogs were BIG dogs and the hall was 3 times as big as our normal one (although she hasnt been to any since April!) And also she HATES the half check collar so i am sticking to her Staffie collar now

shall i just train with her every other day? or maybe half hour a day?

Like Jayne says if you go into overkill you can take the enjoyment factor out of it and the dogs end up hating it

depends upon the dog I suppose

a couple of times a week should be enough- you can get her to stand at home yourself and just treat her afterwards and just practise the walking at your side when out on a normal walk

Gus is better now that we hardly do it
