Formby Point 28th Feb

It is my birthday on 27th and I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate than to have a dog walk.

So, is anyone up for a walk at Formby Point on Sat 28th Feb.

There will be quite a few GSD's on the walk, so is probs going to be noisy lol, but we are a friendly bunch (dogs included )

Formby Point Red Squirrel Reserve
National Trust, Victoria Road, Freshfield, Formby, Merseyside, L371LJ

Its between Liverpool and Southport. Very lovely.

Its expensive to park but well worth it. "

I've never been there myself, but have seen pics from other GSD walkers and it looks stunning with lots of space for zoomies

It is a lovely place, although it can get busy at times.
It's a special place for me as Cosmo met the sea there for the first time and learnt how to swim...we awakened a monster....

Are you going to join us then? go on... You know you want to hehe.

Jess can't swim lol and won't go in water any deeper than mid leg, and I don't mind that lol as she won't ever swim out to sea that way (I'm affraid of this)

GSDM, are there any good parks that are near you that we could organise a GSD walk at? We hold them quite a lot and it would be great to get some new GSD's on them.

You have to be careful with squirrels though, they have been known to attack dogs..in all seriosuness I know of a Golden Retriever that had some pretty severe injuries.

I can't make that day I don't think but I shall check.

If I remember rightly, where the GSD's have walked (I don't know the park so I don't know how its laid out) but they didn't walk the side of the squiggs if you get what I mean...

We will all have leads if they start misbehaving.
