You may be quite right there Fred.

Stewart: stand up straight, consciously tighten your abdominal muscles ( but don't suck them in to a ridiculous extent, just enough so you realise you are doing it and have improved your posture). Get some nylon or other non-stretchy cord. Tie it round your waist, so there's no slack.
Now, every time your posture becomes lazy and you let things flop you will feel the cord tighten and that will remind you to 'use those abs'!
Shorten the cord as your tone improves and your muscles tighten and your posture improves.
May sound mad - but it works. Costs as much as a piece of string
