Has anybody used Asda Hero dog food?

just asking because my friend feeds her lab on it and she looks in great condition, she used to bite at her skin alot when she was on pedigree and nutro but now her coat is gleaming. she also has great teeth, good muscle, good energy levels but not hyperactive. it is really cheap, just over 11 pound for a 15 kilo bag. has anybody else good results with this?

My ex fed 'our' border collie on it and she looked great.
I also know a lady at agility who feeds her dog on it. Her coat is gleaming.

Hi,

I sometimes fed our old greyhound on it and his coat was lovely and he liked it. No problems with it.

I used it for a while
TBH I looked at it and it didnt seem any worse than lots of the premium dry foods - I fed their premium one which really was a cheep as chips
He ate a whole bag of it before going off it and he looked as good as he did on any dry - really seems OK
Cant rem the ingredients now

We have used it for years. I personally think it is better than or at least as good as Cesar and Bakers. Their dog treats are also pretty good. They aren't as neat as the Bakers variety but they smell the same and the dogs go wild when they see the packet. I am sure I read somewhere that they have been manufacturing pet food for over 15 years so they seem to know what they are doing.

I would hope it is better than bakers! Bakers is an awful food!

My OHs parents fed their dog on it, and he looked good on it. I never looked at the ingredients though, so not sure what it is like that way.

I have on occasion used the tins, the dogs love tins as a kong filling
