Dino – 3 year old male Miniature Pinscher(look at the ears)

Dino is a Minature Pinscher of 3 years old who came into us from a vets after his owner wanted him put to sleep for growling at the new baby. The vets were not happy to do this because they felt that it was unfair on Dino who had nothing else wrong with him than a naturally nervous nature and was not an aggressive dog.

Dino is a dog who needs an experienced and understanding new owner. He is not so keen on larger dogs so we will be looking for a home for him with a smaller canine companion. He is fine with cats and other animals..


Dino cannot be homed with children due to his past and also because he prefers adult handlers who are confident with him. He takes a few days to gain trust but once he does enjoys to be stroked and bonds well with his owner.

Dino is clean in the home, is not destructive when left and after a few days of settling has an extreme appetite! Although he can be left for short periods of time, he would need an owner who is at home for the majority of the day as he can be loud when left. The new owner will need to expect to carry on working with this issue to be considered for adoption.

Dino will be castrated, fully vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and defleaed before he leaves our care.
A homecheck will be carried out and minimum adoption fee of £150 applies.

Makes me sad when i here stories like that.
Poor little fella hope he gets a nice home.
How long would you consider is a short period?

What a sweetheart, certainly nothing miniature about his ears
Hope he finds a lovely forever home soon.

has breed rescue been alerted to him?. there are that many about as pets pity they didn't go back to his breeder he looks well bred.
