Lump on beagle's leg?

hi everyone
can anyone help determine what this small lump could be on my dogs leg?

Could be a number of things. Best to see your vet about it to be sure, can never be too careful with lumps.

hi thanks for reply - what could it be - it doesnt seem to bother him at all. it appears to be just under his fur/coat- his coat grows over it.

It could be anything and not something I would guess at. Definitely worth a vet check.

i found a lump on my youngest dog recently. took her to the vets & he said it needs removing because theirs 70% chance it's cancer but seen as i found it when it was small he was hopeful it wouldnt have spread. lump was removed & i got the results today, thankfully it wasn't cancer but with lumps it is important to get them checked out. they often are nothing to worry about but only a vet will be able to tell you whether it could be something sinister & needs removing. hope it is nothing serious

The only way to determine what the lump is would be by doing an aspirate and examining the cells under the microscope

What kind of a lump is it? Is it a soft, movable lump or hard lump which does not move? More details required.
