I think some hairdressers sell them - not sure where my daughter got hers from because her dad got them for her for Christmas I think there is somewhere on line that you can buy them - somebody put a link up I think when we had a GHD thread before.

As for what GHD stands for - well I haven't the foggiest :smt102

Thanx Foxy - but OMG what a price. Me thinks that 13 year old daughter will not be getting GHDs this Christmas.

GHD stands for Good Hair Day (I think).

They are the best straightners on the market, IMO, and I've tried several types. They are expensive though. My friend has been using Remington ones whilst saving up for GHDs and says they are really good and only about £30.

Hi

I have used the GHD straightners and they are fantastic. They heat up in less than 10 seconds. You can also buy them from a well known bidding site which is where I got mine from with some freebies. Yes Good Hair Day is what GHD stands for. You will not regret buying them, my hair is very thick and if I dont get hot and bothered my hair stays good all day long.

Take care
Janet

hmm my daughter has very thick and long hair - lovely strawberry blonde (got that from her dad!), but she already has two sets of straighteners that work but now she's seen a pair of steam straighteners that she fancies - arghhhhhhhh
