Henry, Crossbreed, DOB 09.10 - Finsbury Park N London



Homing Requirements:Henry needs to continue with controlled exercise sessions and discipline to hone his talents into the emerging large and mannered gentleman he is destined to be. He could live with another dog(s). He can be left for periods. Secure garden with 6' fencing.

His Story: Henry was found wandering the streets after the riots and was not chipped or wearing a collar/tag. He served his 7 days in the pound as a stray but no one came forward for him. A couple, the wife being a dog trainer, took Henry into foster and discover him then asked for our help to find Henry's forever home. Henry has been neutered and vax'd. Fostered in North London with a 4 year old English Bulldog bitch.

Advert: Henry has been working on basic commands and is being taught good manners. He is great with commands like 'sit' and 'down'. He now understands that to get a toy or treat he must sit. “I have been teaching him to collect the post. He loves to retrieve toys has been taught "Get it" so he has to go and look”. Henry is housetrained. Unassessed around young children. Also the cat has refused to come into the house so unassessed for cats but perhaps a little too interested.

Henry's fosterers call him a "Modern Day Mongrel". Henry is truly a big boy with a big heart. He is very affectionate and loves nothing better than to curl up on the sofa with his head asleep in your lap. He loves to swim and is brilliant at retrieving things that you throw in for him. He is learning 'get it' searching for a hidden toy. He sleeps alone in the living room and has never protested or made a sound, he has also never been destructive. Henry has landed on his big 4 paws and now needs his 'nest'.
