365 Days!

But this year being a Leap Year I am not sure whether to count today as one year or wait until tomorrow to celebrate.

Today is 365 days since my beloved Pereg's last major GM seizure, a day I thought I would never see.

Keep it up bubby - I love you so very very much.

As I said when she reached 100 days, I am not expecting miracles - I know the Monster will be back. Maybe today, maybe tomorrow, maybe next week, and if it does then we will cope, but we never thought my beloved Pereg would even pull through the last series of cluster episodes.

Every seizure-free day with her is a blessing - a day to be treasured and a day for which to be grateful.

But then every day with her is a day to be treasured, because Pereg herself is a blessing in my life.

Because I love her. It is as simple as that.

Well done to both of you. You pulled each other through the bad times and now you can both enjoy the happy times with each other.

Take care,

Thank you! One year - it seemed an impossible dream but she has made it!

Thank you! She is still just on Pb and I am sure that changing it to three times a day has helped us get this far.

Thank you! I will be taking Pereg to the Vet tomorrow for her six-monthly check-up and blood tests - and it will be interesting to see if she has lost any more weight! She has been doing so well - I just hope and pray that it lasts.

I wondered what you were going to celebrate when you mentioned it the other day, and I couldn't be more happy for your little darling Pereg or for you grandma, there really couldn't be any better celebration than this!!! Hopefully, there will be many more celebrations for both of you in the future. How wonderful, and doesn't time fly, when you've been having such fun!
