Now Old English can not be docked it is possible that the incidence in that breed will rise

AS - stethascope testing - only allowed to go on the heart test list when over 12 months old.
If dopplored for AS you see D against the heart list. The blood flow must be below 1.8.
Scoring accepted only from cardiologists on the breed listing.

Cardiomyopathy - troponin blood test, holtor monitor 24-48 hour (as per reccommendation from the cardiologist) and post mortem if allowed.

Cancer - sadly Boxers do suffer from a wide range of cancers. The AHT are collecting DNA samples, pedigrees etc to enable them to research further into the problem.

Hypothyroidism - blood test to confirm. Not routinely tested for/not required test from breed council or KC. Some feel there is a link with spay/neutering.
Especially where bitches are concerned.
Jury is out if it is hereditary or not in the breed.
A lot of US breeders do test for Hypo-t.

Incontinence after spaying

Seasonal Alopecia

Hip Displacia - not high incidence - or not reported to breed health committee. Breed mean score as per KC scheme is 16.

Bloat - Deep chested breed - therefore can be prone to bloat.

Skin/Allergies - can suffer with skin or allergy complaints.
Normally well controlled on hypoallergenic diets.

Can suffer with cruciate problems.

Corneal Ulcer - or Boxer indolent Ulcers.
Typically hard to heal, tend to suffer more with these in old age especially if you have young dogs in the house.

Corneal Distrophy - normally associated with the conditioned hypothyroidism.

Primary Inertia - Notoriously slow whelpers.

The only breeding reccomendation down via the Breed Council is to only breed from heart tested clear stock (AS).
New breeding reccommendations re cardiomyopathy are in progress.
