Lily - 1 year old Terrier X Whippet
Lily, Terrier x Whippet, DOB 09.11 – Richmond, Surrey
Homing Requirements: Lily needs a family who understand her and can shield her whilst she is gradually exposed to life, learns to trust and to correctly anticipate her reception and care. Lily needs stability, stability and stability. Lily needs a secure terrier proof garden and exit management. Lily could live with a friendly canine companion who is receptive to her puppy energy. Terrier or Lurcher experience would help greatly for her family to 'get' her instincts and trust her as she flourishes and grasps expectations, not to blame her.
Her Story: Lily has bounced through 3 homes with a brief spell in a council pound, and is now in rescue. She has high levels of energy which understandably at times is confused. She needs training and her gifts brought into focus so she can feel the thrill of succeeding, rather than failure. Lily is now neutered, chipped and being vax'd. In temporary foster in Richmond, Surrey.
Advert: Lily is a beautiful, pure and a strong flower. She is beautiful to hold and cherished by all who behold her. She currently has low self esteem and can get easily frightened. Her energy is fast, clinging and on occasions desperate. She needs patience and understanding as she learns to relax and trust. As an only dog she will be able to relax comprehend and learn. She wants to please and needs to learn to develop judgements and heed commands applied with love.
Lily is a Terrier x Whippet/ Lurcher we think. Her energy can become easily confused but infused with heaps of sincerity. She needs one to one support, a family who have the time and skills to offer her. Lily is so attractive and turns heads. We are looking for mature grounded owners who come forward for what they can offer her. Their rewards will come 10 fold in the coming months, but not overnight. She needs to find herself and she is currently lost. She is so worth it!
