DDA need advice

Does anyone know where I can get online advice about dog law?
Particularly the DDA.

As far as I know there is no provision under the DDA that related to 3rd parties acting in a manner which could cause a dog to become dangerous.

Would be very grateful for advice here.

I didn't think so either, which is why I asked.

So you could have a situation then, where the actions of a third party or parties cause a dog to behave dangerously or in a manner believed to be dangerously, but it would be the owner who gets charged under the DDA.

Unless it's already covered by the Protection of Animals Act 1911, where it's an offence to "...infuriate, or terrify any animal."

Edit: is there anything in dog fighting law which covers third party/ies inciting a dog to attack?

It is, actually, my own thread, as I have a different user name there (joined long before I got my dog).

And on 98% of occasions over the last 16 months it has happened while out walking. There is more chance of us falling foul under the DDA while walking than in the shop scenario, and yes the actions of these yobs makes my own dog dangerous to me, as he tries to bite me from sheer frustration, and might also scare anyone in the vicinity or even try to nip them.

Do I report my own dog? Would that get the police to finally do something about the abuse?
