Open show in Dublin Today

Well, we had a really c**p result today, last in class behind, well....... not anything that has ever won a Group or even close ... politics in action!
Still, I was cheered up by bumping into Karen & Colonel, the beautiful big Dane who at that point had won his class but I didn't stay to see if he went further, then even better, "Berger" (Nic) appeared with the very lovely Ivan. (Leonberger puppy) He is GORGEOUS, beautiful soft coat and into everything, allowed me make a fuss for a few seconds until he leapt off in several directions.
I pride myself that I have actually met him!
I think at this rate we should arrange to have a "Dogsey" coffee at these shows!

Well I was only there for half an hour and was exhausted afterwards. Ivan today was Ivan the terrible He lunged at and bounced on most dogs that he met . Firstly he wouldn't even go into the Exhibition Centre and then wouldn't come out.

It was great to meet Karen and the absolutely stunning Colonel. BIS does not surprise me. I have just showed OH a picture of him and he said what an impressive boy he is. Really well done Karen and Colonel and I am really really sorry about the big muddy paw print on Colonel's beautiful coat just before you were about to go back into the ring

Gill great to see you too and I think a dogsey cuppa at the next show would be lovely. Hopefully I won't have any visitors over so I will have a bit more free time to spend with you

Nic xx

Nic, No worries about the paw prints, i like Colonel to meet other dogs and to make contact with them as alot of people would bring there dogs away from him cause he is so big, you should bring Ivan out for the classes on a Tues Evening i'd say he would have great fun
