Calling all Harry Potter fans

Hi All,
in light of Harry Potter and the HAlf Blood Prince's release this approaching month, i have just finished re-reading all five prior books, and one of the charecters in all of the books, has allways stumped me. And re-reading the books it shed even more light on it.
Mrs. Norris, the care-takers scraggy cat. She allways seems to appear in the book when she leasts expect it, she seems to have an eery bond with Argus Filch, the care taker.
And the biggest thing that stumps me is in The Chamber Of Secrets, the basilisk only went after MudBloods, Muggle borns, last time it was opened it killed Moaning Mrytle. Then In the Chamber of secrets, it petrified Hermione, Nearly Headless Nick, Justin Finch Fletchley, Colin Creevey and Mrs. norris, all but one a mudblood, curious eh?
Anyone else notcied this, or have any other under lying theories to the books?

Got all 5 books for christmas

But I must say I havent thought of any theories as such

i must addmit i hate big time, harry potter is all hype

I am the opposite, i love HP, i have all the books and the dvds, must say i prefer the books to the films, i moan everytime the films come out as so much is missing, can't wait for the next book, phones going to be turned off and the computer untill it is finished.
