So sorry to hear this.

Healing vibes on their way to Georgie right at this minute.

Big hugs to you, Georgie and Zena

I have PM'd you, but not sure if it sent or not. Please let me know.

Try to keep your chin up H, you must be in a terribly hard place at the minute. Thinking of you

Debbie xx

Thanks all, I've now spoken with the vet receptionist about this coz my vet is off today.

She told me it's called a granuloma, some are cancerous some are not. I told her I will be taking him in again early next week for a longer chat about this, as it now has a big ulcer on the top of it, and doesn't look like it's going to heal.

The treatment is ab's, steroids, but he's on those anyway I might start wrapping it up again, although he seems to be leaving it alone today.

He needs to have a good look at this again I think, coz it doesn't look good. Off to Google now then.....

Before you find things on Google to make you run around like a headless chicken [as if you would !] have a look at Wiki:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Granuloma

as it is straightforward and easy to understand.

Hope you haven't driven yourself int a frenzy of worry H, google is good but it can create more worry than it alleviates, I remember frantically reading all about Hansen Disc disease whilst Stuart threatened to throw pc away but we like to think we have every angle covered and that the knowledge will somehow help us with whatever will be. Truth is the vet is the only one who can put your mind a trest or indeed confirm the fear. I think you are right to go in and have a chat after all he can answer the questions you have (write them down as I used to have hundreds get there and get too upset and only remember a few ) after all he can give you answers and not be relying on the computer to do so (at least I hope not) Your vet has been good with Georgie and once again hard as it is we have to put our faith in these guys, goodness knows we put our money there
Hang on in there H and lets see what the next week brings, I don't imagine the extreme heat will be helping with the sore spot either
Huge hugs for you all
xxxxxx
