I know a few people who use various forms of dog cologne, while I find the smell lovely and so do the owners both have commented that their dogs seem to be bullied/mounted more by other dogs after the use. Not sure how true that is or if it is just these particular dogs.

Well my recently deceased dog used to love the scent of Eau de Reynard, I have not and never intend to buy any cologne for my dogs.

I generally bath my dogs when they need it, that would be about once a year (ruling out swimming and of course the rain)

As I am the groomer, it would be a no from me. Also my dogs are expected to use their noses so I don't use air fresheners etc either.

(Ponders, is that why I have no friends..........)

Would you please now come and clean my monitor and my keyboard as I had just taken a swig of diluted squash when I read that last sentence...

... and the rest of the squash ended up in my lap and I am sitting in a puddle.

I have to say I like the way my dogs smell unless they have rolled in something nasty that is.
