What do you put on cuts and grazes?

Last week i noticed that Tonks has cut/grazed/skinned a patch on her tummy. The top part of it is healing but the bottom part of it crosses the part of her tummy/leg pit where the ligament is....if you know what i mean!

That bit has become sticky and not nice looking. I have put antiseptic cream on it, but it still looks sticky.

It isn't deep so doesn't need stiches, and hasn't bled at all.

She doesn't seem bothered by it and isn't licking it.

Any suggestions how i could make it heal quicker?

I use Savlon Spray on Antiseptic Spray, or some Aloe Vera Gel.

Oooo i have an aloe vera plant, i could squeeze some of the gel out of it and use that on her. It worked really well on a bad burn i had.

I have used savlon cream, but the spray might be drier.

It looks nasty, and i was hoping to get her spayed next week....it is about three inches from her her spay scar would be so i hope it will be ok. I've been trying to get ehr spayed for ages!!!

If it's sticky I would just clean it with saline and leave it to dry up .

I'd clean it with saline and let it dry to...if it isnt deep and she cant get at it to lick...then put abit of savlon on.
Should be gone in no time...

She can reach it,....but doesn't seem to bother.

I don't think personal hygeine is her strong point!!!

Tried so many things for skin problems and the only thing i really see working time and time again, is sudocream. Myself and a few newfie friends swear by it. Seems to make things heal up very quickly even after the vets product has worked.
