My Gizzie was at the vets yesterday with a rash on front after being bitten by a tick and she had fleas on her. She isnt due her frontline again until the 8th of August. Was told by frontline makers that in the summer you have to use it every month and you can still find fleas and ticks on the dog. Now using advaka instead. I dont want another vets bills for antibotics due to a tick bite. Poor Gizzie's chest is all lump and pink. Was going to give her a piriton tablet, but wasnt sure.
she is 11kgs.

Poor Gizzie - I Frontline Pereg every month on the 1st of the month, because there are far too many stray and/or loose dogs coming into our front yard, most of whom are probably riddled with fleas and ticks.

I did the same with my Little One.

After all, when my dog shares my bed I really do not want fleas and ticks sharing it as well.

We use Stronghold. Our vet doesn't use Frontline anymore. Something about fleas building a sensitivity to it.

We do Peps every month. When we had her she had the most terrible flea allergy. All the fur was gone from her back and what was still there was brown and manky.
Now her fur on her back (and everywhere else) is thick and shiny

A resistance to it, i.e. lack of sensitivity
