Downloaded IE9..dont mind the toolbars being moved etc as you can get used to it...

But

the internet kept crashing and webpages freezing...was a complete nightmare and in the end could take no more and have reverted back to IE8...Im now a much happier surfer!!

I haven't used it for a few days - laptop is heavy-ish & starts my knee off, have been on the netbook - it has the older version & Vista

Hubby has just gone back to IE8. Now the satnav will update - it wouldn't on 9. Many of the other faults he has had since 9 went on have also now corrected themselves.

The main problem with IE9 is that vague things go wrong and it's not obvious what's causing the problem until it comes off and is replaced with IE8.

If this is progress - heaven help us
